How we handle your data, the terms you use this site on, and who helps us run rung1. Last updated 19 September 2026.
Privacy notice
This notice explains how elan1 ("we") processes personal data collected through this website, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). For the rung1 product, processing is also governed by your subscription agreement and data processing agreement.
What we collect
- Details you enter in our forms: name, company, work email, mobile number, city, turnover band, current system, role, your CA's name if you choose to give it, and the change you describe.
- Basic technical data needed to serve the site, such as your IP address and browser type, kept in server logs.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, arrange a working session and assess a design partner application.
- To contact you about rung1, only where you have consented.
- To keep the site secure and meet our legal obligations, including CERT-In log retention.
We collect only what each purpose needs. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
Where it is stored and for how long
Your data is stored in India. Form enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. Security logs are kept for 180 days, as CERT-In requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it erased, or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To make a request or raise a grievance, write to hello@elan1.ai with the subject "Data request". We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Terms of service
These terms cover your use of this website. Use of the rung1 product is governed by your subscription agreement, which takes precedence where the two differ.
- Information only. Content on this site is general information about rung1. Worked examples, including Kaveri Pumps and all cost figures, are illustrative unless stated otherwise.
- Not legal or tax advice. Descriptions of GST, e-invoicing, e-way bill, TDS, payroll and DPDP rules are summaries. Your chartered accountant remains responsible for your filings.
- Features and prices. Features marked "Soon" are not yet available. Prices, where shown, are in Indian rupees, exclude GST and may change before you sign an order.
- Intellectual property. The rung1 and elan1 names, content and design belong to elan1. ERPNext and Frappe are trademarks of their owners and are used descriptively.
- Acceptable use. Do not try to disrupt the site, overload it by automated means, or submit false information through its forms.
- Liability. The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, elan1 is not liable for losses arising from reliance on website content.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.

Cookie settings
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to switch off. Any analytics we use are cookieless and do not identify you. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first.
