What is rung1?
rung1 is a governed AI agent layer for ERPNext, built by elan1 in India. You describe an ERP change in plain English. rung1 builds it in a sandbox copy of your ERPNext site, tests it against your ledger, stock, permissions and GST, and applies it to your live system only after a named person approves it. Every change can be rolled back for 30 days.
Who is rung1 for?
rung1 is for Indian manufacturers, distributors and multi-location retailers with ₹5–50 crore turnover that already generate e-invoices. It suits businesses that have outgrown Tally or BUSY, or whose ERPNext project has stalled. It is also built for their chartered accountants and ERPNext implementation partners.
Is it safe to let AI change my ERP?
With rung1, the AI never touches your live ERP. It works only in a sandbox, it cannot approve its own work, and 3 gates (ledger, stock and permissions) block any change that fails. Only one service, the Promoter, can write to your live site, and only after a person approves. Rollback for 30 days uses no AI.
How is rung1 different from an ERPNext implementation partner?
A typical ERPNext customisation project in India takes 4 to 16 weeks. rung1 does the repeatable configuration work (fields, workflows, approvals, reports and print formats) with governed agents, shows you a side-by-side diff before anything goes live, and lets you undo any change for 30 days. Partners can also use rung1 to deliver faster.
How much does rung1 cost?
rung1 is priced per company in Indian rupees, not per user. Plans start with a free 14-day Sandbox, then Nano at ₹2,499, Growth at ₹7,999 and Scale at ₹19,999 a month, with Enterprise from ₹49,999. Each plan includes ERPNext hosting in India and agent credits. Annual billing gives 2 months free, and design partners use rung1 free.
Where is my ERP data stored?
Your data stays in India. rung1 is hosted in the Mumbai region (ap-south-1), backups are held in India, and security logs are kept in India for 180 days as CERT-In requires. Every request records who asked and why, in line with the DPDP Act.
